NJMP Field of Dreams and Crossroad Powersports are proud to present our Mini Clinic for kids! This learning clinic is perfect for any kid on an 85cc or smaller bike, especially those learning to ride, or who are getting on a bike for their first time!
This clinic will focus on all of the basics of riding, including, but not limited to;
Attack Position
Head Position
Foot Position
How and when to stand
How to know you are in the right position when accelerating or braking.
How and when to sit to initiate a turn
How to know you are in the right position for corners
How to hold the bars (low grip vs high grip)
How to open and close the throttle

Schedule
Clinic starts at 9 AM under the pavilion at the picnic tables, and should wrap up around 12:00 Noon.
We will start at 9:30 with introductions and a quick introduction to the facility and technical brief.
We will go over some basics on the bikes of things that should be checked regularly, and how to check them, including;
Check tire pressure
Check fasteners
Check controls for proper function
Check Brakes / adjust if needed

Around 10-10:15 we will send them out and observe what they know, and what we will need to teach them.
From around 10:15 -10:30 we will go over what we will work on during the clinic. From 10:30 – 12:00 noon will be the main portion of the clinic.
Cost
$5.00 General Admission
$20 for the track pass and clinic. After the clinic, any kids may ride the mini track at no additional charge for the remainder of the day.
Other things to note
Please fill out a membership form and minor waiver for your child before they participate in this clinic.
1 Parent must accompany their child during this clinic. Parents will be involved in every step of this clinic.
Riders at NJMP Field of Dreams are required to wear the following gear on tracks:
Helmet
Chest Protector
Goggles
Boots
Gloves
